The Brief
Metrocoat Graphic Supply, LLC. is a manufacturer of water-based coatings, UV Coatings, and varnishes that also provide pressroom consumables and has been in business for more than a century. Metrocoat came to us ready to establish an online presence that could take them into 2020 and beyond. This small business is willing to go the extra mile for its customers, is loyal to them and their unique needs, and wanted that culture of honesty and tradition to translate through their brand.

Reimagining a Brand
Metrocoat needed a complete branding overhaul, to include a new, original logo and graphic design, website design, SEO, and marketing materials. They needed a multifaceted approach that would modernize their presence in the world and bring them the leads they needed to grow. Branding and Logo/Graphic Design
We needed a brand for this company that was a perfect balance between tradition and modernization, so we designed and offered Metrocoat several different logos and brand design options, with varying degrees of each. They decided on a modern twist to their previous logo, with a simple, elegant font and bold, memorable design. This new brand is a representation of the company’s time-honored and distinguished personality, with the strength and innovation for the next hundred years.
Website Design and Development
The biggest task we had was in creating an online presence for this company that reflected the characteristics of its new brand. We then needed to deliver consistency across all customer touchpoints. By showcasing the company’s products and capabilities through an online catalog, we created a new way for Metrocoat to generate leads and a streamlined, user-friendly process for online product orders.

We used Metrocoat’s chosen brand design to represent its mission and personality through its personalized stationery, business cards, product packaging, packing labels, and other physical marketing materials.
